Soo... I was hoping to share some fun stories of green beer and Irish pubs, but as you may be able to tell from the title of this post... all did not go according to plan! I went over to my BFF's after work so we could get ready in our all our green glory together. After a few stops to pick up some friends, we headed to the pub. After a run in with officer friendly (minus the friendly part) about parking, we proceeded to the door. (This may be confusing to non-AZ people because I don't think many other states do this with their licenses... so sorry if I lose you at this point...)The bouncer looks at my ID and tells me he cannot accept it. I seriously thought he was kidding. I have been using this ID to get into bars for years! It is from the DMV, it is real, WTF? In AZ when you're underage your ID is vertical, then when you turn 21 you can get a normal horizontal one. I never bothered to get the new one, because I never had any problems with it! I guess they can have their liquor license revoked for accepting it! The bouncer was actually pretty nice about this, but it still totally sucked! So, instead of new cute pics, I am forced to share these oldies from St. Patty's day in Atlanta with my pharmacy friends.
I ended up going out to eat with my sweetie, so I still had a pretty good night! Hope everyone else's celebration went better than mine! I also am playing along with Top 3 Thursday at Keeping Up With Kelly. I love spring! I would have to say my three favorite things about spring are finally getting to take the boat out, spring training games, and camping! Head on over and play along too!
